Lamborghini Reventon Roadster

Since I had nothing to do today,I decided to do post on the Lamborghini Reventon. I know its a little earlier then I mentioned in the previous post. but here it is. Two years ago, Lamborghini wowed Frankfurters with its limited-edition, stealth-fighter-inspired, $1.4 million Reventón coupe. Only 20 were built for public consumption; nine came to the U.S. And although we can’t say we saw its equally stealth follow-up coming Lamborghini has chosen the 2009 Frankfurt auto show to unveil the even rarer and more expensive topless version of the Reventón. Of course, when we say even rarer, we can’t quantify by how much, because Lambo hints that “less than 20” will be built, although it also confusingly adds that 20 is a nice, round number.
Like the Murciélago-based Reventón coupe, the roadster swaps all body panels for different segments of wing and tail sections of retired F-117s. We kid, but it sure looks that way, with its aggressive, forward-thrusted air intakes up front, hungry-looking scoops on the side, and pancake-flat rear flanks featuring four spiney glass louvers offering a sweet view of the Reventón’s raucous V-12 heart. The Reventón roadster’s top is identical to the one found on the Murciélago roadster. I thought the Lamborghini Reventon was cool, but this is way beyond what I have expected. I am definately sure that Lamborghini has pushed themselves to the limits and have gone up to the next level in car production.

Lamborghini Reventon

As this is the 15th post, I will be posting about the Lamborghini Reventon which is my personal favourite Lamborghini among them all.The Lamborghini Reventón is a mid-engiened sports car that debuted at the 2007 Frankfurt Motor Show. It ranks as one of the most powerful and expensive lamborghini road cars to date, costing one million euros(US$1.5 million, or £858,000).The official press release stated that only 20 vehicles would be released to the public, with one additional car (marked as 0/20) produced for the Lamborghini Museum. Although early rumours indicated the total number would actually be 100, each Reventón is clearly stamped with its number in the sequence of 20 between the driver's and passenger's seats.
Despite the exterior being new, almost all the mechanical elements (including the engine) are sourced directly from the Murciélago LP640. According to the official press release, the Reventón exterior styling was inspired by the "the fastest airplanes". To emphasize this, Lamborghini staged a race between a Reventón and a Panavia Tornado fighter plane. I find that the Lamborghini Reventon being one of the most powerful lamborghini on the road till today is a fact that cannot be denied. To me, the Lamborghini Reventon is one of the coolest and slickest cars seen on the roads till date. How I wish that I could own a car as magnificent, spectacular and yet amazing as the Lamborghini Reventon. The Lamorghini Reventon is certainly and without a doubt my dream car. Another thing that i would like to add is that I would not be posting the picture of the Lamborghini Reventon as it the very first thing that you would see the minute you visit this blog.
