Hi all, I am supposed to post up an image and describe the setting as of what is seen in the picture and the viewers of the blog will have to try and guess what my story is going to be like judging based on the image and the short description of the setting of 5-10 lines. So good luck to all and happy guessing.
Here's the setting:
It was a gloomy Saturday night. The mysterious owl seemed to be in cahoots with the ominous moon. Suddenly, the grandfather clock at the basement struck twelve. The chilling breeze sent shivers down Mr Tan's spine as he was about to check out of Hotel 88. Hotel 88 was the finest and most luxurious hotel in the whole of Athens. It was a hotel that provided world-class service that satisfied any person's demands and request. Out of the blue, there was a power outage. The lights were back on . At that juncture, the rich tycoon, Mr Tan was unconscious and lying on the floor with a bullet shot right through his brain.

ReplyDeleteBased on my judgement and speculation, I think this is going to be a story about mysteries and detectives investigating a case. The setting gives me a creepy feeling about something bad is going to happen and my worst fear is confirmed when the rich tycoon died. What makes thing mysterious is that there was a black-out and he was dead after that. This murder must have been planned and carried out purposefully and not accidentally. Hence, it makes the story even more mysterious.
Yup, it's going to involve a crime investigation. The police and detective force will be summoned and somehow the story would relate how they solve it and give us some surprises at the end. No one could have provide witness and the first one to provide witness would most probably be the prime suspect as the murder happened when it was dark, moreover there were only a few people as seen from the picture.
ReplyDeleteI think you are going to write about investigating the crime which the rich tycoon is the victim. As Leon said, this crime has been planned carefully, as there was a black-out. I will make a guess for the criminal. Mr.Tan is a rich man... the criminal is probably sent by a opposition company or businessman. I made this guess as you said that he stayed in hotel 88, a super luxury hotel. This created an impression that mr.Tan was very very rich and thus he must had many opposition companies or businessman.
