comparision between lamb to the slaughter, love and male child

I know i told you'll that I'll post on lamborghini's but this is an LA blog so no choice must do as what the teacher ask.I prefer lamb to the slaughter to the two other stories as the climax when Mary Maloney kills her own husband with a lamb leg because he is leaving her for someone else is very exciting.Mary Maloney becomes a totally different person, one that is scheming and deceptive. This sudden turn of events jolts readers like myself to want to read on and find out what happens in the end. This story provides a twist that no one would have imagined.Neither would anyone have thought that the caring and pleasing Mary Maloney would make such a drastic move as to killing her own husband out of anger. She is indeed a wolf that is hiding under sheep's skin.

  1. What about the other two stories that you did not like? Any particular thoughts? I've never read any of these titles, but I found out that Lamb to the Slaughter is written by Roald Dahl, who was one of my favourite authors back then when I was still in school.

  2. i wouldn't say shes a wolf hiding under a sheep's skin. remember the saying, "Hell hath no fury of a woman scorned"? after all she did to maintain a home. her husband was trying to leave her for another,in another way of saying, having an affair. her anger overcame her grief as the man she loved had betrayed her isn't it?
