So the blog topic for this post would be: would you have treated Boyd or someone who is not of the same race differently? Why or why not?
I feel that everyone should be treated fairly and equally, we all leave on one Earth, we should stand united as one human body. Mrs.Wilson is still under the impression that negro do hard labour, are poor and are barely able to survive with the meagre income that they earn. another factor is that African-Americans have developed and improve themselves so they till will no longer be looked down on by others. Furthermore, you should never judge a book by its cover, always get your facts right before jumping to conclusion. Besides one should judge a person based on his character, personality and attitude and not just by his outer appearance or features.
Hello Kenneth,
ReplyDeleteit's been a long time since you last posted.
Hope you had a great lunar new year.
Anyway,my answer for this blog topic will be no. i will not treat Boyd or someone who is not of the same race differently.
I will first know the person for who he is first.
if he has any financial difficulties, then i will try within my means to help like what Johnny's mother did.
Only God has the right to judge anyone.
im not God, so i won't judge. whether different race, religion or skin colour. i believe in knowing someone as a person first before jumping to conclusions about how the person is like.
Extend a hand of friendship with no strings attach, no judgement or whatsoever.know the person with one's heart then get to your conclusion.
Sad to say, the world has already come to a state whereby people often judge others' by their appearance first before extending a hand.
I hope this story teaches you to know someone for who they are inside, & not judge whats on the outside.
